Montasia Jones A Rising Star

                                     

Montasia Jones is a seasoned personality in her community; with a brilliant mind and married with a beautiful daughter and a beautiful son. Montasia won two talent shows in her high school days, at Holmes High School, in 2016 and 2018.

She was also runner-up in her high school talent show in 2019. With have the honor of singing countless national anthems for sporting events at Holmes High School and many schools in the surrounding communities. Montasia was cast in her junior year for a role as Willy Wonka. She was the first African-American female cast for this role in her school history.

Montasia is a melophile and a huge believer in God. Although, nowhere near perfect, she attempted to walk closely with God since she was a mere 5 years old. She continues to go to church to this day singing in her choir and the praise and worship team. Alongside her church choir, she has sung lead at two NAACP luncheons. She was also given the honor to be the co-host at a concert where the legendary John Peeke performed at the NKY Convention Center, while also creating the radio commercial to promote the concert.

The following day she went on to sing “The Lord's Prayer” for the breakfast held for VIP members that were in attendance. Not only is Montasia known for her vocal abilities, but she is also known for being a student-athlete. Montasia played varsity volleyball, basketball, and track. Having many accolades in each.

Montasia was an amazing scholar as well, being one of three people in her 8th-grade year to score a perfect distinguished on the K-prep testing. In high school Montasia was in the National Honors Society, the Superintendent Leadership Counsel, a Rotary Exchange scholarship recipient, and graduated Magna Cum Lade. With a long life ahead of her, Montasia is determined to create a long successful career in music and acting. Arising star on the move to Success!!
